Guys, Here's A Little Secret...Lot's of Women Love Football!
Super Bowl XLII is only a few days away so time to put your game face on. Last year the Associated Press reported that up to 44% of women are football fans. So if you're a guy that would love to meet a woman that loves football, Sunday night is a big opportunity for you.
Get out to some of Atlanta's sports bars, pubs and restaurants who are hosting various Super Bowl Parties & events or attend one of the thousands of in-home Super Bowl parties. There will be plenty of women at each of these. You might not get the Lombardi trophy but you could meet someone who shares your passion...just in time for Valentine's Day! With the big game fast approaching here are some things to avoid doing to improve your chances.
Go easy on the Alcohol: A couple drinks and you're cool and relaxed, a few too many and you're well you know.
Don't yell at the TV: First, its not going to respond back to you. Second, the people on the screen can't hear you. Third it really doesn't make that great of an impression.
Avoid throwing things when your team has a turnover: First, the host or bar probably won't appreciate projectiles flying about. Second, there is the potential to inflict injury on another person. Finally, we're back to that "first impression" issue.
Don't get mad and ruin the night if your team loses: You're a die hard Steelers or Packers fan and your team just lost a rare opportunity. Its tragic I know. But, you've just met a wonderful person who could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Only time will tell but she could be a great consolation prize.
Let the teams wear the uniform: Its great that you have a team hat, jacket, t-shirt, and sweat pants. One at a time is a great way to show your support. Sporting all at the same time makes you look like my third grade neighbor. If you have to go all out keep it to maybe just the shirt and hat.
**Now we know that there are some die hard fans who are ladies and the same rules above apply. Let the game be the event and you can focus on just being yourself.
