Single Atlanta Moves into Beautiful New Office

Atlanta's largest privately owned matchmaking firm moves its office. The new boutique office in the Perimeter area of Atlanta is stylish, plush, but not at all fussy. It looks more like a living room on Paces Ferry than a business. And yet the business here is very serious. After all, the clients of Single Atlanta are looking for the ultimate commodity in an uncertain marketplace: love.

"The opening of our new office is testament that this is a concept that is more relevant than ever," says Managing Partner Lisa Lyngos. The concept she's referring to is matchmaking. And in trendy Atlanta, this age-old practice is finding a large audience. "I know a few people who have had good experiences with online dating," Lyngos continues. "But the overwhelming feedback that I get about the internet is that people misrepresent who they are." Lyngos continues, "At Single Atlanta our clients are looking for a better pool of prescreened candidates.

And of course there's the personal touch that you get by working with a matchmaker who makes the introductions." Founded more than a decade ago, Single Atlanta is owned by twin sisters and run by a staff of 12, who serve thousands of satisfied clientele.

"Single Atlanta gave me self-confidence and courage." says client Beverly Clark. "I was quickly matched with lots of nice, attractive and exciting men - some of whom I am still friends with. But a special one took my heart." Beverly and Cees Van Barneveld were married earlier this year, and are now living in Grand Cayman where he works for the Ritz-Carlton.

"We emphasize the face-to-face relationship with our clients," says Leisha Murphy, Founding Partner and twin sister to Lisa. "Our new office is a big part of that. We don't want our clients clicking around on the computer. When we say 'we want to meet you,' that's not just a polite thing to say. It's our entire business strategy."
