Engagement "London Style"

Congratulations to Elizabeth and Mike! When I called Beth (one of my favorite clients) to tell her I had a great match for her, she said she was "too busy" to meet him... and then I told her "too bad" because this is the guy we've been waiting for! I reminded her that, we can make time for the things we really care about--and on top of that, I told her that I had a very special feeling about this one. (This is my secret matchmaking skill, excellent intuition--and in this business you either have it or you don't.)

Well, they hit it off immediately and began dating and getting to know one another. Within no time they were going through the process of meeting friends and family...all of whom saw the very same thing that we did when we put the match together, they are perfect for each other. Eight months later on a romantic trip to London they became engaged. (update: They are now married)

The lessons here are simple, trust your instincts and make time for the things you really want in life. If you're thinking about working with a Matchmaker, do it. I'd love to meet you, and who knows maybe next time it will be you!
